Hello and Welcome, this is Alissa Ho, your IT and Outreach Librarian from your Library Pearl Cove,

This is the first of a series of online workshops to help you use Microsoft Office effectively in your daily life.

At the end of this session you will be able to:

1. Locate Microsoft word on the computer

2. Identify  basic functions in Microsoft Word (page layout and fonts)

3. Type and format a document

you will also need to either save and email me your word document, or copy and paste the text to send it to me via email so I can see how you are going. if at any point you have questions, concerns, or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me:

You can put your question in the comments at the end of this blog entry, but I might not get back to you immediately.

Mobile phone: #0405 778 633(I often pick up between 10am and 5pm, otherwise please leave a message) or

email me at alho.2738@gmail.com (I often reply within 1 day but if I don’t, I will try to get back to you within 3 days at latest) .

Consultation appointments also available, if you want to leave a message and specify a time.

* while this session can be completed in one sitting, it is recommended you take a break every 30-45 minutes, to walk around, get a cup of coffee/tea and freshen your mind. You can come back at any time, no pressure! there are numbers in the middle of the page that can be your bookmarks. Just remember or write down which number you are up to and resume from here 😊
